Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously when she first enrolled at Stanford University. Her early successes in her acting career include movies like Pleasantville and Election However, her character as Elle Woods was the turning stage for her. Her role in Walk the Line earned her an Academy Award nomination in 2005. Water for Elephants: This Means War & Wild, for both of which she received an Oscar nomination. Witherspoon also has had success on the television screen, having was a co-star and producer on David E. Kelley's popular award-winning TV show Big Little Lies. Witherspoon was born Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon at New Orleans Louisiana, March 22nd in 1976. The parents of Witherspoon are a medical doctor as well as a registered nurse. Her childhood was spent in Nashville, Tennessee as the debutante of her school as well as Harpeth Hall. Witherspoon, on a random basis in 1991 answered an advertisement published in the local newspaper looking for extras. In 2003's film The Invisible Man she had her debut feature-length character. Her television career began with House of Lies Whitney. Her film credits comprise The Dictator, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Dictator. As well as her acting work, Ms. Williams is also a talented painter who has displayed her work in numerous galleries.
