Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer, and fashion model. Shooting to fame for his roles on Road Trip he has since played in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition to his work in Road Trip, he's played in over 22 television shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & many more. Qualls has been diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly determined fighter. Two years after treatment, his cancer is now in recovery. But, early treatment was extremely detrimental to his health and development. When he started acting financially secure, it was his target. He was a victim of hardship in his early years. I've lived so frugally and for so long, I'm able to have that financial security or my life feels a bit beyond my control, during an interview. The actor also thinks about his own youth to determine how he can combat being bullied. He believes that violence breaks his heart. In real life and on screen, DJ would love to be the role of a father. However, he does admit that directors rarely cast me for those types of jobs. He would like to become father one day in order to spend more time with the children and not be so occupied with his work.
