Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is active Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her notable contributions to American television. Her fame is due to her outstanding performances on the American TV series Law & Order where she captivated audiences for three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan in which she played protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also displayed her acting prowess in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class and The Acting Class, in which she played co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy began her career in 1988, alongside her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. She spent a short time on Broadway as part of Buddy The Buddy Holly Story. The Buddy Holly Story, before moving into the world of science fiction in 1993 as Doctor. Marie Lazarus. In the fall of that year, she joined the crew of the NBC popular crime-drama Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Three seasons of her role was a hit with the public. The show ended in 1996. Parker has appeared on film and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and RED Fried Green Tomatoes. For these, she received an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker has also been awarded the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
